The Cairn Centre

Opening times for The Cairn Centre, Kirkcaldy

Monday to Friday: 10am – 4pm

Fancy shopping in a store packed full of high quality goods at fraction of the price, where all profits help local homeless people?

The Cairn Centre offer exactly that. Our charity shop in Kirkcaldy gives Trust in Fife charity funds a vital boost and offer training opportunities and employment.

And unlike bigger, national charities, all proceeds go to the most vulnerable people living in our region.

We sell pre-owned furniture, clothes, electrical items, books and a huge array of bric-a-brac. Everything from lampshades, beds and bathroom cabinets, trousers and teapots are all here.

Your donations help us offer starter packs of small and large essentials for local homeless people at affordable prices. They enable us to run workshops on up-cycling and fund training sessions for homeless people on subjects such as good neighbouring skills and healthy living.

And to make it even easier to donate, we run a delivery service so can collect and drop off heavy or awkward items for you. You can check delivery prices here

So if you’re clearing out your house or offices, please keep Trust in Fife’s Cairn Centre in mind. All donations are very much appreciated, although the items collected will be at the Van Driver's discretion.  Everything you donate helps local homeless and vulnerable people secure, and sustain, permanent housing.

Keep up to date with what’s on sale in the Cairn Centre, and reserve whatever catches your eye, by following us on Facebook

Can you help run our shop?

Our shop couldn’t run without our volunteers who dedicate their time for a worthy cause and in a rewarding way.

We’d be delighted if you’d like to donate your time to help us in-store or as a driver’s mate. Please send us this completed form at the bottom of this page so we can get started. We can’t wait to hear from you.
