A safe place to stay and support to move on

*****Our residential services are open 24/7. If you require assistance with access to Temporary Accommodation, please contact Fife Council direct. Trust in Fife cannot accept direct referrals.*****

We understand that finding a safe, private place to sleep is difficult when you’re dealing with the financial and emotional distress of becoming homeless.

Trust in Fife provides temporary accommodation for 26 single people in hostels where staff are on hand to help make independent living easier.

Within our two Kirkcaldy residential units, the Oasis Project and Valley Accommodation Unit, we offer individual bedrooms along with shared shower and toilet facilities, a living room, kitchen and laundry facilities.

We’ll coach you in a wide range of practical skills and we’re here to support you emotionally to help you feel better prepared for independent living.

Our residents, who are over 16 and registered homeless, are referred to us from Fife Council.

Apologies but we can’t accept direct referrals. For more information on our residential service or to speak to staff please contact:

Care plans designed to suit you

Care plans designed to suit you

If you’re referred to The Oasis Project or The Valley Accommodation Unit, you’ll benefit from far more than safe shelter thanks to experienced staff who’ll support you within our hostels.

You’ll be assigned a key worker who will help identify and design a support plan to fit your needs.

We have three full-time staff members at both hostels, and together with four part-time staff we’ll meet you at least once a week and review your care plan once ever six weeks.

We offer discussion groups and practical workshops in everything from money management, tenancy skills, paperwork, heathy living, cooking, good neighbouring skills and your rights and responsibilities.

Just as importantly, we’re here if you just want someone to talk to. Working together, hopefully we can achieve our aim of equipping you with the confidence and skills to live independently.
